CHANCE TO WIN BRAND NEW HOME CAN HELP AREA NON-PROFIT
How would you like to win a brand new luxury home in the heart of the San Francisco Bay area and help a local non-profit organization, all for $100?
To continue its work providing scholarships to youth and long-term residential living services for adults, A Positive Force Leadership Corporation (APF) is raising funds by offering the public a chance to win a 4-bedroom, 3.5 bath custom home located in Marin County’s exclusive Arrowood Estates, just minutes from San Francisco.
The raffle for the home began July 15 and runs until October 14. In addition to the home, there will be 930 secondary prizes, including several cash prizes of $10,000, $5,000, $2,500, $500, and $100.
“Non-profits play a critical role in our country, regardless of whether they provide social services, pro bono legal or mental health services, free health care, or support to the arts and culture,” says Chester France, a Partner with Charity Home Raffle, the licensed and bonded company assisting APF to conduct the raffle.
“This raffle will help APF to continue playing a vital role in promoting community enhancement, urban and economic development, and leadership skills throughout the community,” France continues.
Founded in 2000, APF has provided financial literacy, voter registration, youth scholarships, and training on independent living skills. APF volunteers mentor at-risk youth, foster and urban youth between the ages of 12 and 24, and adults.
“Innovative approaches to fundraising, such as Home Raffles, can provide sustainability for charitable organizations even in our current economy. With assistance from Charity Home Raffle, we’re able to gain funds to continue our mission of supporting the community,” said Debra Richardson, Executive Director from APF
Charity Home Raffle conducts raffles for high-end homes that the owner or developer wants to sell. Proceeds from all of the company’s raffles are used to deliver the appraised value of the home to the owner or developer, while generating substantial revenue for the designated non-profit organization.
“In the current real estate market, home raffles offer a opportunity to receive the appraised value of a home, while supporting a worthy charity. It’s truly a win-win solution”, said Chris Dyer, homeowner of the home to be raffled.
The raffle to help APF and possibly win a custom luxury home (or one of 930 cash prizes) is open to all persons over the age of 18. Tickets are $100 each and may be purchased by fax, mail, or phone. For more details about how to enter the raffle, complete contest rules, and the official raffle entry form, go to www.APFRaffle.com.

USAHomeRaffle.com and Charity Home Raffle Join Forces to help homeowners and Charities
BALTIMORE - (Business Wire) Two of the country’s top home raffle companies – Charity Home Raffle (CHR) and USAHomeRaffle.com both of which are based in Maryland – are joining forces to help homeowners trapped in the current housing market and charitable organizations struggling to provide existing services.
Under the new joint marketing agreement, the two companies will be positioned to offer end-to-end assisted solutions for homeowners and charitable organizations. The first result of this agreement is a raffle for A Positive Force Raffle (www.apfraffle.com), which is managed by Charity Home Raffle with Internet Marketing assistance from USA Home Raffle.
CHR conducts raffles for high-end homes that the owners want to sell. Proceeds from each CHR raffle are used to deliver the appraised value of the home to the owner, while generating substantial revenue for a designated charity.
USAHomeRaffle.com pairs homeowners with non-profit organizations and manages an extensive national database of charities and homeowners interested in raffling their homes. Once a homeowner and charity have been paired and approved to conduct a raffle, USAHomeRaffle.com then provides web development, online ticket management and Internet marketing services.
“With home sales and charitable contributions both continuing to lag in the face of a slow economic recovery, this agreement will enable CHR and USAHomeRaffle.com to extend their services to additional users nationwide, while allowing each company to focus on its core strengths,” explains CHR Chief Executive Officer Kevin Ellis.
Under the new agreement, CHR will focus on assisting charity and homeowner pairs in completing regulatory hurdles, and defining the rules, strategy, and prizes for each raffle. CHR also will provide accounting certification of raffle tickets and awarded prizes, handle marketing and traditional advertising, and operate 24/7 ticket order phone and fax lines.
USAHomeRaffle.com will maintain the listing of all nationwide current home raffles on its website. They will also continue to pair homeowners with non-profits. The matches that are made via USAHomeRaffle.com can be referred to Charity Home Raffle for their raffle management services. USAHomeRaffle.com will provide the web development/online ticket processing and the Internet marketing services.
“This is a win-win for both of our companies, as well as for the homeowners and charities with whom we work,” says Ellis.
Charity Home Raffle recently received a significant investment from Deal Metrics Private Equity Group, enabling CHR to expand its operations nationally and underwrite advertising and other costs associated with management and promotion.
The concept of raffling a home for charity has proven effective and often attempted. Past experience, however, shows that such raffles are successful only when properly managed and promoted.
